## Description/Job Summary
_General Summary_
The .NET Developer creates technical specifications from business requirements, encompassing all design, development, and implementation phases in support of Brownells' strategic objectives. Responsible to ensure end user capabilities meet business needs and for maintaining, monitoring, supporting and upgrading applications. Engages in technical training, policy design, application strategy and architecture. Has overall responsibility for quality assurance, standards, checking processes
_Essential Functions_
_Operational Responsibilities_
Highly proficient in development, design and analysis and is responsible for the larger and/or more complex applications.
Responsible for, and has knowledge of system performance and user experience.
Designs, develops, and implements solution architecture for enterprise-class products related to .Net & web
services
, including front-end development, server-side development and the core database.
Provides technical consultation and development support for existing and new systems development.
Performs analysis and requirements gathering without direct supervision.
Prepares technical specifications for programs to be written; designed, coded, tested, debugged, and documented.
Delivers high-quality solutions on-time.
Provides operational and maintenance support for existing applications.
Manages risks, issues and concerns.
Develops time estimates for project deliverables.
Solicits internal customer feedback and takes appropriate action.
Designs enhancements and upgrades to systems and ensures systems meet functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications regarding application software.
Ensures new applications are successfully integrated.
Has overall responsibility for quality assurance, standards, checking processes.
_Strategic Responsibilities_
Leads the collaboration of the development team on application architecture.
Proactively identifies opportunities for business improvements through application development.
With the development team identifies technical, human resource and business process implications of future product offerings and enhancements.
Envisions new technical capabilities and common applications components.
_Leadership Responsibilities_
Acts as consultant for internal business customers.
Manages service partners.
Works closely with Systems Architect and IT team on quality assurance, program logic, and data processing.
Collaborates with analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing of new software programs and applications.
Ensures users are provided professional, courteous and timely communication, support and service.
Keeps abreast of emerging technology and how it could be leveraged at Brownells.
Trains, mentors, and assists associate and intermediate developers.
_Administrative Responsibilities_
Acts as gatekeeper for code change management.
Develops and maintains project budgets.
Maintains status of project in project tracking system and/or provides timely communication to all stakeholders.
Creates and maintains application documentation.
_Qualifications_
Education
Bachelor's degree in IT, MIS, or other with relevant experience.
6-9 years direct experience in software development and system design.
Certifications in Microsoft technical area and/or Professional Developer certification a plus.
Experience
Technically fluent in programming languages, including .NET Framework, C# and , XML, SQL, Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) and Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server(MOSS)Sharepoint server 2010/13 preferred, and web services development .
Proven project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures, project lifecycle models (SDLC), etc.
Highly proficient in development, design and analysis.
Knowledge

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
